Description:
Due to continued growth, we are accepting applications for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible to troubleshoot and identify deficiencies and issues that are needed to be repaired. You will be responsible for programming addressable systems and verifying proper system operation. This position requires the ability to service, repair and replace fire alarm system related products.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Fire Alarm System Service and Installation Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of life safety, alarm panels, devices and critical components
- Low Voltage Electronics Experience
- Identifying code and non-conformance issues
- Proper Communication Skills Dealing with Customers
- Valid Driver’s License
- NICET II Certification or ability to obtain it within six months.
- State of Michigan F.A.S.T. License or ability to obtain it within six months.
- Ability to withstand heights and climb ladders comfortably
- Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking
- Willing to be on-call after hours.
- Willing to pass a pre-employment drug test and reference, background check
Responsibilities:
- Service, Install, Test and Inspect Fire Alarm Systems
- Troubleshoot and Repair Fire Alarm Systems
- Installation of Fire Alarm Systems and related Equipment
- Complete Records for Inspections and Work Orders for Service and Installations

Pay Range:
Pay depends on your level of experience and education.
